The Story
From Studio
to Archive
In 1950, New York collector Maurice Duchin commissioned Salvador Dalí to create a series of ceramic tile designs.
Produced in Valencia in 1954 by El Siglo, each design was hand decorated using traditional ceramic techniques before being released as a limited European edition.
Over the decades the collection quietly disappeared from public view before eventually re-emerging alongside original historical material that helped reconnect the archive with its remarkable history.
Today the collection is being carefully preserved for future generations.
